PSC candidate Muns donated to Haley’s '24 presidential bid, records show
Georgia PSC primary election is June 17
Though Lee Muns, a candidate for Georgia Public Service Commission, has MAGA content pasted all over his social media sites, records show he donated to Nikki Haley’s presidential campaign.
Muns’ personal Facebook page is packed with pro-MAGA content, including reposts of videos from Donald Trump's official Facebook and Instagram pages as well as from prominent MAGA voices such as Laura Ingraham.
However, Federal Election Commission filings show that on Feb. 6, 2023, Muns donated $100 to Nikki Haley's presidential campaign.
Haley was a candidate in the 2024 Republican Party presidential primaries.
Per the FEC, while Muns has donated on five occasions to WinRed, he did not make any donations specifically to Donald Trump's 2016, 2020 or 2024 presidential campaigns.
Muns is running to unseat District 2 incumbent Tim Echols. The winner of the June 17 primary will go on to face Democrat Alicia Johnson in the November election.
