Eden Roberts wants to provide common-sense leadership as Justice of the Peace
She's running against incumbent David Meeks for Faulkner County District 2 seat in March 3 GOP primary
Eden Roberts wants people to understand the role of Justice of the Peace is more than just overseeing weddings.
Roberts, who is running for Justice of the Peace for District 12, has deep roots in Faulkner County. She was appointed to the Faulkner County Quorum Court in 2023 by Gov. Sarah Sanders.
She is seeking to defeat incumbent David Meeks in the March 3 Republican primary. Meeks also is a former state representative.
Roberts, who lives in Wooster, is a Realtor who says she supports limited government, individual liberty and free-market principles to empower citizens. She promotes a three-pronged commitment to not raise taxes, be available for every constituent and to be fiscally responsible.
Her campaign website says she believes in common-sense leadership, open communication and making sure every voice in District 12 is heard.
“With a promise to keep taxes low, spend wisely, and always be there for her community, Eden is ready to keep working for the place — and the people — she loves most,” the site says. “During her term as Justice of the Peace, Eden secured funding for the creation of the Faulkner County Animal Shelter and fought to ensure property taxes were not raised.”
Roberts’ husband is a 28-year veteran of the Arkansas State Police and CEO of Black Oak Development. They have two teenage daughters.
Roberts also serves as the county judge’s appointee for the Faulkner County Equalization Board, a role she says allows her to fight for lower property taxes.
“After much prayer and discussion with my family, I’ve decided to enter the race for Justice of the Peace, District 12,” Roberts said when she filed her candidacy papers. “I have a passion to help others and hope I can continue my public service in this capacity.
“I was thrilled to be part of a team that helped get the Faulkner County Animal Shelter running. Faulkner County is growing, and so is our animal population. Faulkner County needed an animal shelter to assist law enforcement and the community, and I was excited for the opportunity to sponsor the ordinance which created the county’s animal shelter.”
Roberts’ campaign website also describes her plans to protect property rights, to improve infrastructure and growth planning to avoid overloading county resources, to maintain the district’s roads, to be fiscally conservative and to be available and accessible to constituents.

He ain’t common sense cause tariffs is what built this country they shouldn’t be able to tell a president what to do. They never interfered with Obama or Bill Clinton when Bill Clinton signed a bill in 2009 to take $80 billion out of Social Security and give it to every 50 state and turn CPS into a sex trafficking ring. They didn’t interfere with that did they they didn’t interfere when Epstein was sex trafficking girls. They didn’t interfere when they went after Donald Trump on Russia, Russia, Russia, and all the other lies. Where was the Supreme Court then they didn’t do anything when when the little black girls got her job because of DEI and she goes and dances in a Musical like a train seal
